Montenegro will play host to Bulgaria in gameweek five of UEFA European Championship Qualifying this Sunday. The hosts are currently in third place in Group G, while the visitors are at the bottom of the group standings. Montenegro come into this match off the back of a 2-2 draw against Lithuania in midweek. That result extended their recent record to four matches without a win, including two draws and two losses. The Brave Falcons' only win in this competition, though, came against this opponent in their opening fixture. Looking further back, Montenegro had a fairly strong Nations League campaign, finishing third with seven points, just four behind the group winners Bosnia and Herzegovina. While they are ranked 53rd according to UEFA, the hosts are the favourites to win this match. 

Meanwhile, Bulgaria played a friendly match in midweek, which ended in a 1-0 loss to Iran. That saw their winless run extended to six matches, including three draws and three losses. The visitors were beaten fairly comprehensively in their opening two fixtures of this tournament. However, they bounced back well to take a point off Lithuania and Serbia in each of their last two fixtures. The Lions had an impressive run at the Nations League last year, finishing second in their group behind Georgia. In their six matches, they secured nine points and ended the competition unbeaten in their last four games. Bulgaria have failed to win any of their last three away matches, though they have kept four clean sheets in their last six games on the road. Bookmakers have them as the clear outsiders in this one.
