Monaco vs Nimes Prediction & Betting Tips - Ligue 1

Monaco haven't made a good start to their season. They are 15th in Ligue 1 and only a point above the relegation zone. Midweek saw them host Atletico Madrid in the Champions League. They took the lead but ended up losing the game 2-1. So far they have just the one win in their five matches in Ligue 1 despite winning their first match of the season at Nantes. They have no wins in their last four league games with two draws and two defeats. Home form was strong last season and they had a run of nine wins and a draw in ten games between last December and April 2018. This season is a lot worse though with one point from two games and that Champions League loss.

Nimes won promotion to Ligue 1 last season and are eighth in the table. Their five league games this season have seen 24 goals scored with them finding the back of the net 12 times but conceding 12. They won their first game of the season 4-3 away at Angers despite being 3-1 down with 16 minutes to go and it took an 88th minute own goal to get them the win. A 3-1 win over Marseille followed but they then lost their next two league games 1-0 at Toulouse to an 80th minute penalty and then losing 4-2 at home to league leaders PSG though the score was level with 13 minutes remaining. The goals continued to flow in a 3-3 draw at Bordeaux after leading 2-1 but trailing 3-2.  Go for over 2.5 goals to be scored in this game.
