The win over Metz ensured Monaco are firmly in the title race, and now they will be going for a quarter final slot as they seek glory in the cup competition. They have four straight clean sheets, three wins in the four matches and just one loss in their last 18 matches, with 14 wins in the process. After a six-game drought, Monaco’s lead scorer Ben Yedder returned to scoring ways with a brace against Metz in the last game, his 15th goal in the league campaign.
