Monaco plays host to Marseille at the Stade Louis II for this match in the French Ligue 1. The home team are currently 5th on the table with 27 points while the visitors are on the same number of points but have the better goal difference therefore they occupy fourth spot. Monaco had an excellent 2-0 away win over Toulouse in their last match which was their second consecutive league win. They have run into some good form recently losing just once in the last six matches across all competitions. Monaco have also qualified for the playoff round of the Europa League and were unlucky as they lost out on top spot in the group because of Ferencvaros having the better head to head record. They have been in superb form at home going unbeaten in their last five matches with four wins and a draw.

Marseille also come into this match on the back of an impressive 1-0 home win over Lyon. The victory could not have come at a better time as they were on a horror run of five matches without a win across all competitions. In their last five league matches they have only picked up four points from a potential 15 and as a result they lost their second spot to now drop to fourth place. Marseille have only won two of their last eight matches across all competitions with five losses and a draw.
