Two sides at opposite ends of the Championship table will face off this week, with Millwall playing host to Leicester City on Tuesday night. The hosts are currently in 20th place, while the visitors sit atop the league standings. After narrowly missing out on a playoff spot last season, Millwall have experienced a major drop-off this term. They are currently on 44 points after 41 games and just two points above Birmingham City, who are the first side below the dotted line. The Lions suffered a 1-0 loss to fellow relegation candidates Huddersfield Town over the weekend, which extended their current winless league run to four matches, including three losses and a draw. At home, Millwall have recorded six wins, five draws, and nine losses in 20 Championship matches this season. They are now looking to extend a three-match unbeaten streak at home, which includes two wins and one draw. The hosts lost the reverse fixture 3-2 back in December and are the outsiders in this one. 

Meanwhile, with six games left to play, Leicester are still in the midst of a heated battle for automatic promotion. They are on 88 points after 40 games, one point ahead of Ipswich Town in second and two ahead of Leeds United in third, while they have a game in hand on both. The Foxes secured a second consecutive league win over the weekend, beating Birmingham City at home, which followed a 3-1 win over Norwich City a week earlier. Their major strength this season has been their defence, which has only conceded 36 goals, and they are one of only two teams that are averaging less than a goal conceded per 90. Leicester City have competed away from the King Power Stadium in 20 league matches this season, securing 42 points out of a possible 60 (W13 D3 L4), though they have failed to win their last two, losing one and drawing the other.
