=10.5ptMillwall have opened their season with three straight draws, the latest of which ended in a win on post match penalties over Gilingham in the League Cup. They will however be concerned with the performance in the second half against Middlesbrough as they we destined for three points but two late concessions spoilt their day. After that game however, Milwall failed to score in the subsequent two matches and had an unconvincing show in attack, failing to hit a shot on target against Blackburn. Derby on their part, opened the season with a dramatic late win over Reading but they were brought down 4 – 1 by Leeds United, currently under Manager Marcelo Bielsa before recovering with a win in the League Cup but their strength as a team will be gauged immensely in this game. New manager Frank Lampard will be hoping to build up on the show against Oldham in midweek and in Jack Marriot, League One’s top scorer last season, the former England international has a wild card and added to a strong home squad, the visitors should be comfortable enough here. Milwall however, have a strong home record, having lost just twice in the last 15 matches and we can’t rule out a fight against Derby from them.
