Millwall will be looking to bounce back to winning ways on matchday 28 of the Championship when they play host to Cardiff City at the Den. Millwall are 17th in the table, while Cardiff City are 20th. Here's our match prediction.

Jake Cooper became the scapegoat in Saturday's home game against Hull City. The 29-year-old scored an own goal in the 58th minute denying his team a crucial point in a 1-0 defeat.

Millwall have been struggling for decent results in the Championship as the aforementioned defeat marked their fifth match without a win (D2, L3), during which they failed to score in three instances. 

Their home form has started to raise eyebrows. The Lions have lost four of their last five outings by a 1-0 scoreline with a 1-0 victory over Blackburn on December 21 being the exception. 

Cardiff threw the ball possession book out of the window as they routed Swansea 3-0 at home. Callum Robinson was the standout player in that match thanks to a second-half brace.

As a result of that win, the Bluebirds have extended their unbeaten run in the league to five matches (W2, D3).

However, on the road, they've yet to meet expectations this season. They have accumulated ten points from a possible 39 in their last 13 outings recording seven draws, five losses and a solitary win.
