Middlesbrough vs Sheffield Wednesday Prediction & Betting Tips - Championship
by Ian John in Championship Predictions
Middlesbrough host struggling Sheffield Wednesday in an Easter Monday Championship clash that has a lot more riding on it for the visiting Owls than it does the Riversiders. Michael Carrick's 'Boro have had a very inconsistent and streaky season, thus they lie 10th in the table, safe from the drop but too far behind the playoffs places. They didn't win any of their opening seven games, but then won six in a row. Since then wins, draws and defeats have come in clusters and that has continued to the current run of games where they have drawn the last two (including last Friday's 1-1 draw away to promotion-chasing Southampton) and prior to that won the last three. Unbeaten in five, only two of those results have come at home and Boro's recent home form sees them having had just one win in the last seven, with three games drawn, three lost and just one win in that period.
After losing 4-0 to Huddersfield at the start of February, Sheffield Wednesday then won five of their next six games to give themselves a real chance of survival. However, their next two games came against Leeds and Ipswich and resulted in a 2-0 home loss to Leeds and a 6-0 thrashing against the Tractor Boys. They did recover to earn a 1-1 draw at home to Swansea on Good Friday which moved them onto 38 points. They remain one point behind Birmingham in 21st spot and safety, but their goal difference is much, much worse (-31 compared to -17 for Birmingham and -19 for Huddersfield in 22nd). The Owls are not out of the battle just yet, but of their remaining away games, this does look like being the toughest of the four they have remaining (they also travel to QPR, Blackburn and Sunderland).

Unibet Refer a Friend Bonus
Betting is enjoyed in a big community and Unibet gives you the chance to bring on board your own community, then earn from this. The promotion for this is called ‘Refer a Friend’ and it is not only the user who wins by referring, even the friends brought on board can bring you up to £150 of bonus money.
How this works is that a user is allowed the freedom to referee up to three friends to the site, and these friends will be eligible for the Unibet welcome offer, while the existing user receives in form of Free Bonus Money £30, £40 and £80 for the first, second and third referral.
How does this work? Well, it is simple: the user just has to sign up for the offer by clicking ‘Refer a Friend now’ then invite by referring a maximum of three friends. The friends referred should be residing in the UK, and have to meet their wagering requirements with their welcome bonuses; that is, register, deposit and meet the bonus terms.
Each of these three bonuses have a 5x wagering requirement and it is important to ask the referred friend to register through the link received from the referring friend.
All tips are fully researched and given in good faith, but profits cannot be guaranteed.
