by Steve Ashfield | in Championship Predictions
Middlesbrough have no wins in their last 11 league and cup games. They have slipped to 21st in the table and face another tough game as they host Nottingham Forest who are fourth. The home side begin the weekend only outside the Championship relegation zone on goal difference. They will hope that the sides around them have a bad weekend before this match takes place on Monday. Their last three league games have all been lost 1-0, two of them to Barnsley and Luton, the bottom two sides in the table. Their last game was a 1-0 loss to second placed Leeds United. None of their last five home league games have been won with three being drawn. Only two goals have been scored by them in their last four home league matches.
Nottingham Forest are six points behind the second and final automatic promotion spot. They are the same number of points ahead of seventh, so at least a place in the play-offs is looking likely. Midweek saw them win 1-0 at Cardiff City thanks to a Tiago Silva goal four minutes into the second half. That ended a run of three games without a win, though the last two had been drawn. Only one of their last six away league matches have been lost. Forest have scored in each of their last nine away league fixtures and can get a narrow win away at Middlesbrough.

Our Middlesbrough vs Nottingham Forest Prediction
Middlesbrough are in deep trouble with no goals and no points from their last three league games. They are on an 11 game run without a win and in danger of being relegated to League One. Nottingham Forest are in fourth and won away from home in midweek. They aren't in the greatest of form but can take advantage of Boro's poor form and get an important win.
