Jose Mourinho is up to his old tricks moaning about the fixture list and reckoning United might lose to Middlesbrough on Sunday. It's not as if United played away in Europe on Thursday and he has a massive (costly) squad.  Middlesbrough got rid of their manager in midweek and are in deep relegation trouble. They have sunk to one from bottom as again the North East sides in the Premier League battle to stay in it. Boro are three points from safety and their biggest problem is scoring goals with just 19 in the league all season and have failed to score in five of their last six matches. They haven't scored against a Premier League side since January 31. The last ten league games have produced just four points and their last win was in December at home to Swansea who were terrible at the time. Manchester United are six points from the top four but have two games in hand on fourth placed Liverpool and will be keen to see the Reds lose to Manchester City on Saturday. No league defeats since October and that was away at Chelsea who also knocked them out of the FA Cup on Monday. United beat Middlesbrough 2-1 in the reverse fixture and despite their fixture pile-up can beat Middlesbrough.
