Middlesbrough beat Sunderland 1-0 in midweek but still look certain to be relegated. They start the weekend six points from safety with just four games to go. The problem is those final four games see them playing Manchester City and Southampton at home and away games at Chelsea and Liverpool. They probably need to win three of those to stay up, it's just not going to happen is it?  Boro had gone seven home games without a win before that victory over bottom of the table Sunderland. Earlier this season they drew at Manchester City but also lost 2-0 to them at home in the FA Cup.  Manchester City are still in big danger of missing out on the Champions League next season. They start the weekend in fourth place but are only a point ahead of rivals United who they drew with on Thursday. City are a point behind third placed Liverpool but have a game in hand. A win here will take them up to third as Liverpool don't play until Monday. Away from home City have one loss in their last six league games and only Chelsea have beaten them in the last twelve league games. With this game being followed by Palace, Leicester and West Brom at home before a final day trip to Watford, you have to fancy them to get that top four finish. City can win this game on a -1 handicap.
