Both sides still have hopes of making it into the Championship play-offs but have had differing seasons. Middlesbrough start the game in eighth place and three points will take them into the top six. Boro were as low as 13th in the table earlier in the season and have been battling to get into the play-off places for the past few months. They are in good form at home at present which is important for them as they have gone three away league matches without a win. That poor run should have ended at Sunderland last weekend but they blew their lead to end up drawing 3-3. At home though, they have won their last two league matches and have won nine out of 17 home league games. Leeds United are 11th in the Championship but only three points behind their opponents. They made a bright start to the season and were top for a few weeks but then it all started to go wrong.and their 1-0 home win over Brentford last week ended a run of 10 league and cup games without a victory. Away from home they have no wins in their last six league and cup games losing three of the last five. Boro have to be tipped here mainly due to their home advantage.
