It's a big weekend for Middlesbrough and new striker Jordan Rhodes. This time last week Rhodes was a Blackburn player and renowned for a great scoring record in this division. A week later he's due to make his debut for Middlesbrough and it just happens to be a home game against Blackburn!  Middlesbrough are second in the table, a point behind Hull but with a game in hand. A return to the Premier\League looked likely but now they have the best striker in the division playing for them. They do need a win though having lost their last two league games 1-0. Before that they had gone nine league games without defeat without conceding a single goal. You can see why they need Rhodes though with not many goals being scored recently. Rhodes managed to score in both of his last two games for Blackburn. He's their top scorer with 11 this season, after that no one else has managed more than three. Blackburn are in poor form at present with just three points from their last seven league games and only two goals. A relegation battle looks likely and this looks an ideal chance for Middlesbrough to get a win but will Rhodes get a goal?
