Arsenal have been in bad form for most of the year and are still waiting for Arsene Wenger to make his mind up over whether to sign a new contract or not. How he gets offered one in the first place considering the lack of effort in being able to challenge for the title is beyond me. Their hopes of another season in the Champions League are beginning to fade and might even need a bit of help getting into the Europa League the way it's going. Surely they can get a win at struggling Middlesbrough?  The home side are looked destined to returning to the Championship and start this game one from bottom and six points from safety, though they do have two games in hand on Hull City in 17th. Games in hand mean precious little when you aren't winning and the last Boro league win was in 2016 against fellow relegation battlers Swansea City. The last ten league games have produced just four points and five goals, two of which were scored in the recent 4-2 loss at Hull City. At home Boro have gone five league games without a win. Arsenal are in trouble at present but they just have to get a win here against a side struggling even more than them.
