Mexico vs Wales Prediction & Betting Tips - International Friendlies
by Steve Ashfield | in Football Predictions
Mexico won their World Cup qualifying group by five points winning five of their six home games. They have only lost two of their last 20 home friendlies, though one of those was the last one they played going down 1-0 to Croatia in March of this year. Before that loss they had won five home friendlies in a row taking the scalps of Ireland, Ghana, Paraguay, Bosnia-Herzegovina and an impressive 3-0 win over Iceland. They need to get in form as their opening game in Russia is against defending champions Germany and they also have to take on Sweden and South Korea.
They host a Welsh side that failed to build on their sem-final appearance at Euro 2016 and failed to reach the World Cup finals, something they still haven't managed since 1958. That's despite only losing one game but they drew five and the one they lost was the defeat to Ireland that left them in third place. Now they have Ryan Giggs in charge but Champions League hero Gareth Bale will be absent for this fixture. Wales did well under Giggs in the China Cup thrashing the hosts but losing to Uruguay. James Chester and Joe Allen are also missing so this will be a tough game for the Welsh who want to prove they can still mix it with the best sides despite not qualifying for the finals. Go for Mexico to get the win over a weakened Welsh side.

Our Mexico vs Wales Prediction
Mexico have a strong home record and take on a Welsh side that are missing three key players and that includes Champions League hero Gareth Bale. That tips the balance strongly in the favour of the home side who rarely lose home friendlies, so go for a home win in this match.
