Mexico are second favourites to win the CONCACAF Gold Cup and take on Jamaica in the second semi-final. They have only lost one of their last six games and that was to Portugal in extra time in the recent Confederations Cup. In their last 14 games they have suffered just two defeats, the other being to Germany earlier in that tournament. So far in this Gold Cup, they beat El Salvador and Curaco in their group, the other game being a goalless draw with their opponents in this game despite having 65 percent of the possession. The quarter finals saw Mexico beat Honduras 1-0. Jamaica are sixty places below Mexico in the FIFA world rankings but were runners up in the 2015 Gold Cup tournament. In the group stages they had a win over Curaco and drew with both Mexico and El Salvador before beating Canada 2-1 in the quarter finals. Mexico should again be able to get plenty of possession in this game, back them to take their chances this time and win the game.
