Melbourne City vs Macarthur FC Prediction & Betting Tips - A-League

Melbourne City are in a strong position at the top of Australia's A-League. They have a five point lead (with a game in hand) an dhost sixth placed Macarthur FC. The league leaders along with Perth Glory are the only clubs in the A-League who are yet to lose a home game. Four of Melbourne's six home league games have been won but they nearly lost their unbeaten record in their last home match. City trailed Adelaide United 3-1 but a last-gasp penalty earned them a point. They come into this match having failed to win their last three league games. All three ended level and Melbourne City are now unbeaten in their last six A-League fixtures since a loss at Sydney United in early December. 

Macarthur FC occupy the final play-off place but only ahead of seventh placed Perth Glory on goal difference. They have 18 points from their 14 league games, that's ten less than their opponents and from a game more. Macarthur FC are not in the best of form coming into this match. Their last three league games have only produced one point and they've got just a single win in the last five A-League fixtures. Their most recent league game saw them draw go behind and lead before drawing 2-2 at home with Western United who are one from bottom in the table. They have only won two of their seven away league matches this season with the last two lost without scoring. Just two of their last 14 away league matches have been won. There might be the danger Macarthur park the bus hoping to earn at least a point but this looks like a home win.
