Marseille and Monaco meet at the Stade Vélodrome in this French Ligue 1 match. The home team are currently in second position with 47 points while the away team are in 9th position with 38 points. Marseille are 15 points behind leaders PSG and there is no realistic chance of catching the runaway leaders. Their best possible finish is second spot as this will see them qualify for the Champions League. This will be no easy task as they have Nice breathing down their necks just a point behind them in third place. Marseille are coming off a 1-1 draw away to Troyes in their last match and have only two wins in their last five league matches.
