Ninth placed Marseille host Lille who are fourth in Ligue 1. The home side are six points behind their opponents but with a game in hand. However, they come into this game having lost three of their last four league matches. That doesn't tell the whole story though because all those defeats have come in away matches against PSG, Monaco and Nice who are currently the top three sides in Ligue 1. Their other recent league fixture saw them beat Le Havre 3-0 at home. The Olympians are yet to lose a home league game this season with three out of four games being won and the other drawn, Only one home league goal has been conceded by the Phocaeans. Four points have been earned from their two home Europa League games. Over 90 minutes they come into this game unbeaten in their last seven home games.

Lille begin the weekend four points behind leaders Nice. They owe their high placing to their excellent home form that has produced 12 of their 18 points in Ligue 1 this season. Away form hasn't been so good with only one of their five league fixtures being won. Three of those games have ended level and their only victory came at 13th placed Le Havre. They lost at Lorient who are only just above the relegation zone. Lille's away problems are nothing new with that win at Le Havre being the only victory they've earned in their last ten away games in Ligue 1. We go for Marseille to get the win in this match.
