It has not been a very good ride for Eintracht Frankfurt after that surprise win in the German Cup and they head to this game on a very wretched run, picking just a win in their last five opening matches of the season, including a 5 - 0 whacking by Bayern Munich and a 1 - 2 loss to lower ranked Ulm in the German Cup, which means they will not be in a position to defend their title. Their only win of the last five matches came against Freiburg in the opening game of Bundesliga but after that they have suffered comprehensive losses to Werder Bremen and Borussia Dortmund. Counting their preseason performance, Eintracht Frankfurt have lost six matches in their last seven matches.
