Benfica are two points clear of Sporting at the top of the table and with a much better goal difference. However this game doesn't take place till Monday and Sporting can go top of the table with a home win over Setubal on Saturday evening putting the pressure on Benfica to win here. A win and a draw from their last two games (away at Maritimo and home to Nacional) will be enough to secure another league title. If Sporting fail to beat Setubal on Saturday then the title can be clinched with a win here. Benfica are in top form at present and have 54 points out of the last 60 with 10 straight wins since they lost to Porto in February. Away form is strong with 10 wins on the bounce and just five goals conceded. Yet they still haven't clinched the league title with Sporting fighting them every inch of the way. Benfica should continue their winning run with a victory at Maritimo who start the weekend in 12th place in the table. Form isn't at all good for them with three defeats in their last four league games. At home this season they have lost seven league matches including two of the last four. It looks like three more points for Benfica then who beat Maritimo 6-0 at home in January.
