Newly promoted Mara Sugar have made an excellent start to life in the top-flight, notching up three wins in their first five games, while keeping clean sheets in each of those victories. 

However, since beating Bidco United at the start of the month, they have found victories hard to come by, drawing their next two games before suffering a 2-1 loss to Tusker on the road in midweek. 

At home, though, the hosts are still unbeaten with three wins and two draws in five games, while the last time they lost on home soil was at the start of December last year. 

In contrast, defending champions Gor Mahia have made an underwhelming start to their title defence, earning just 11 points from their seven games - albeit they have two games in hand.

K'Ogalo secured a 2-0 win over Homeboyz on Wednesday night, bringing an end to a four-match winless run in the top-flight dating back to a 3-0 victory over Posta Rangers in mid-October. 

The visitors have played three away games in the league this season and won the first before losing back-to-back in their last two matches, while they also conceded two goals in each defeat.
