Ole Gunnar Solksjaer is the new permanent manager of Manchester United. However, his team has lost four of their last five games but no talk of the sack just yet. United lost at home to Barcelona on Wednesday and it's looking as if they will need to finish in the top four of the Premier League to qualify for next season's competition. They start the weekend in sixth place and are three points behind fourth-placed Tottenham who are home to relegated Huddersfield Town this weekend. United need to win this game against West Ham and are unbeaten in their last 13 home league games which is keeping them in the chase for a top-four finish after two successive away defeats.

West Ham are 11th in the Premier League but still only five points behind the seventh place that could yet get a team into the Europa League. Their away form is wrecking their hopes though and Monday's loss at Chelsea means they have just one point from their last seven league games. Even worse is the fact the Hammers have scored just one goal in those seven matches. Manchester United have to win this and with their opponents so poor on their travels, they can get the three points from this game.
