Manchester United face a lot of criticism at present. They may well be fourth in the league and going well in the Champions League but fans and ex-players (yes you Mr Scholes) are unhappy about the defensive way in which United play. Even despite the fact they have gone six games without defeat (excluding those penalties against Middlesbrough), goals haven't been flowing at all and the under-fire Wayne Rooney keeps getting moaned at even though he scored the winner in midweek against CSKA Moscow. United have kept four straight clean sheets and another one could well be on the way here against an inconsistent West Brom side. Albion always seem to struggle when playing teams you'd really expect to beat them. In games against Manchester City, Everton and Leicester they conceded three goals and even did the same against Chelsea early on in the season. Results like that don't bode well for this game and United might suddenly find their scoring boots this weekend especially if they could get an early goal.
