While Tottenham decided not to sign any players in the latest transfer window, Jose Mourinho made some signings but not as many as he'd have liked to and he's been looking rather miserable of late. Even more so after his Manchester United side lost 3-2 to Brighton and Hove Albion last Sunday. It wasn't just the fact it was the second time they'd lost at Brighton in the past few months but the terrible performance and mistakes they made. That defeat followed a promising 2-1 home win over Leicester City and Mourinho will be hoping for another performance like that at Old Trafford or the media will have a field-day over the next week or so. United have the players to win this match and Fred has looked an excellent signing so far. Their home record is impressive and United have won the last four home games against Spurs without conceding a goal.

There are off the pitch problems for Tottenham too with their new ground still not ready and complaints from fans over the lack of any signings. On the pitch Spurs have won their first two league games beating Newcastle 2-1 away and then returning to Wembley to beat Fulham 3-1 with even Harry Kane scoring a goal in August for the first time. They haven't got a good record at Old Trafford and also lost to United in the FA Cup semi-final last season. Their midfield is capable of giving United plenty of problems but the tip here is for a home win.with United surely playing much better than they did at Brighton.
