Manchester United vs Tottenham Prediction & Betting Tips - FA Cup
by Steve Ashfield | in FA Cup Predictions
The FA Cup represents for both teams the last chance to win a trophy this season. Tottenham have been impressive again this season but had that terrible run in October and November that ruined their title challenge and they were knocked out of both the EFL and Champions League with home defeats at Wembley. The club haven't won a trophy since 2008 and that League Cup win is their only since 1991 so a win is overdue. Midweek saw them held to a 1-1 draw at Brighton and before that they lost at home to Manchester City. Harry Kane scored in midweek but has been looking a bit tired of late and has had injury problems too. Tottenham at their very best can just about beat anyone and defeated Manchester United at Wembley in January.
Manchester United have had an up and down week with that shock loss to West Brom on Sunday and then a comfortable 2-0 win at Bournemouth on Wednesday. After the home defeat on Sunday, Jose Mourinho promised that the players who let him down in that loss wouldn't be on FA Cup duty this coming weekend so it'll be interesting to see what team he puts out. United will equal Arsenal's record of winning this competition 13 times if victorious this season and last won the cup in 2016 but that's their only win since 2004. They do tend to blow hot and cold at times with that loss to West Brom, being knocked out of the Champions League by Sevilla and some poor away league defeats. Not an easy game to predict but a bet on over 2.5 goals looks one that should be a winner.

Our Manchester United vs Tottenham Prediction
Tottenham would love to win the FA Cup this year and technically would have to just win two home games to do that. They haven't won in either of their last two matches and face a Manchester United side that may have a few changes in it. A bet on over 2.5 goals in what should be an exciting semi-final should be a winner.
