Manchester United didn't win on Monday but they put in a performance that a lot more fans appreciated. A bit more pace is what the fans have been calling for and against plenty of other teams they might have got a win. The 0-0 draw with Chelsea made it eight games without a win for United and they now find themselves in sixth place and five points adrift of the Champions League places. Trouble is they are also only four points ahead of the team in 11th so more points dropped here could see them drop out of the European places and down towards mid table. A loss here would most likely see the end of Louis van Gaal and United haven't done well against Swansea in recent years. Amazingly Swansea have won four of their last five games against United and won on their last two visits to Old Trafford. Swansea at home was van Gaal's first league game as United boss, might it also be his last? Swansea beat United at home earlier in the season but they've struggled ever since and got rid of their boss last month. The last two games have seen them beat West Brom at home and draw at Palace. They still haven't got a manager and away form has been a problem for them this season. If United can play as they did against Chelsea then a long awaited home win looks likely here.
