Manchester United haven't always impressed their fans or the critics this season. Despite criticism of the way van Gaal's team plays, they still find themselves second in the Premier League just two points behind leaders Manchester City.  The last two league games have seen them beat Liverpool 3-1 and Southampton 3-2 and the club has found a new hero. While Wayne Rooney still searches for his first Premier League goal of the season, wonderkid Anthony Martial has already hit four in as many games. More goals should flow from United as they host bottom of the table Sunderland. They've only got two points from six games and have conceded 13 goals. Add on two Capital One Cup games and they have conceded 20 goals in eight games this season. Four times this season they have conceded at least three goals in a game and have already lost four matches by at least a two goal margin.  At times their defence has made the kind of mistakes that must be giving manager Dirk Advocaat nightmares. He could be in for another sleepless night this weekend because United could easily run away with this game and a bet on a -1 handicap should pay dividends.
