Manchester United continue their bd to get back into the Champions League. They are fifth in the table and host Sheffield United who are in seventh but just two points behind their opponents. The home side are unbeaten in their last six league games, last losing on January 22. That was a home loss to Burnley, only their second defeat in the Premier League this season at Old Trafford. They have kept three straight home clean sheets and only conceded 12 in their 15 league games on home soil. The goals aren’t always flowing though and all but one of their last eight matches in the Premier League have had under 2.5 goals scored in them. That stat has come up in three of the last four at Old Trafford. It didn’t in their reverse fixture against Sheffield United. That ended in a 3-3 draw with Manchester United coming from 2-0 down to lead 3-2 before conceding a 90th minute equalizer.

Sheffield United can go above their opponents with a win in this game. However, they are not in the best of form and another defeat will severely damage their hopes of European football next season. This is their third away league game in a row since the Premier League season resumed. The first two have produced just a draw at Aston Villa and a 3-0 defeat at Newcastle United. It's still a tight league aside from that massive gap between first and second. If the Blades lose at Old Trafford, they could struggle to finish in the top ten. A win though would revitalise their season with four of their last seven at home. Their away form isn't great though with just four wins in the Premier League all season. They have won only one of their last six and only scored in two of them. A bet on a Manchester United home win is the suggested bet.
