Manchester United were lucky to come away from Anfield with just a 2-0 deficit from the first leg. They really did put in a poor performance that had the critics again calling for the removal of Louis van Gaal as manager. Being held to a 1-1 draw by West Ham in the FA Cup wasn't a great result either and  on Sunday they travel to Manchester City for a game vital to their hopes of reaching the Champions League next season. United went all of the first half against West Ham without a shot on target, such a performance won't be anywhere near good enough here. They need at least two goals just to possibly force extra time so a more attacking United needs to be seen in this match.  United have failed to score two goals in each of their last four matches so someone really needs to get their scoring boots on.  Liverpool are 8th in the Premier League and the way the FA Cup is going with a top four side unlikely to win it, they'll need to finish sixth to get European football next season  or win the Europa League. They are still unbeaten in this year's Europa League and excluding penalty shoot outs are on a seven match unbeaten run. I think Liverpool will qualify for the quarter finals and I think they can avoid defeat here too..
