Manchester United vs Leicester Prediction & Betting Tips - Premier League
by Valeria Di Meglio | in Premier League Predictions
Jose Mourinho isn't in the best of moods at present as he worries about the lack of transfer signings by his club for the new English Premier League season. The transfer window shuts on Thursday so it'll be interesting to see if any more players are signed, especially Harry Maguire from Leicester or Bayern Munich's Jerome Boateng. United fans are more worried about the way Mourinho's side plays and the rumours of Paul Pogba going to Barcelona. Manchester United finished second in the Premier League last season but a distant 19 points behind champions Manchester City and it's hard to see them bridging that gap this time around. They remain strong at home with 15 wins out of 19 last season, losing just twice and conceding just nine goals but United fans only saw 47 goals compared to the 75 seen down the road at the Etihad. Lukaku is fit and if he can receive more support and United play in a more attacking manner then another top four finish is on the cards.
Leicester City lost on the opening day of the season last year going down 4-3 at Arsenal, a game they had the lead in. They finished ninth in the table last season with 47 points, a massive 53 behind top spot. The summer has seen them lose Riyad Mahrez and they will be doing their best to hang onto Harry Maguire. They've spent nearly £50m on players but the likes of James Maddison from Norwich City and Ricardo Pereira from Porto aren't going to see them make another title challenge. Away form last season saw Leicester with the seventh best record in the Premier League. Not much to write home about though as they only won five and lost nine. United tend to do well in their opening fixtures and can be backed to get a home win here.

Our Manchester United vs Leicester Prediction
Manchester United fans aren't too happy at present and neither is Jose Mourinho. It's usually at this time that he starts getting moody and ends up leaving his club, so watch this space. He should see his team get their Premier League season off to a good start and it might be the only time they are top this season. Leicester have lost Mahrez and will have a much-changed team that might take a while to settle down. Go for Manchester United to get the win in this game.
