Manchester United have won their last eight league and cup games and can make it nine with a home win over Hull City in the first leg of this League Cup semi-final. Mourinho's men had a comfortable 4-0 win over Reading in the FA Cup on Saturday and that makes it 14 home league and cup games without defeat. Their top players are all in form and even Peter Scholes is in a good mood about how United are playing these days. Not that many are over optimistic for the year Hull City are going to have.  Just seven points from their last 18 league games led to the sacking of their boss and in comes former Olympiakos manager Marco Silva. Saturday saw his side beat Swansea City in the FA Cup ending a run of ten league and cup games without a win.
