Manchester United are close to securing second place in the Premier League but may just be holding some hopes for the title as they welcome Burnley in the 32nd round of matches. Going to the game, second placed United have managed 63 points while Burnley, in 16th place, have 33 points. Manchester United are 11 points behind leaders Manchester City, but they have a game in hand. They can close that to eight points, with City engaged in the FA Cup this weekend, and City’s loss to Leeds United last week may have been the sign United needed to keep pushing.
