Manchester United are home to Arsenal on Sunday but it's not their most important match of the week. United are only 14th in the Premier League while Arsenal are second in the table. Can the Gunners close the gap on Liverpool this weekend? Here's our match prediction.
The Red Devils need to qualify for Europe next season to avoid a possible £100 million black hole in their finances. The chances of them qualifying via the Premier League are slim with a double-figure margin to make up. After last weekend's FA Cup exit, their only hope seems to be winning the Europa League.
Arsenal won 7-1 at PSV in midweek but by the time this Premier League game begins, they could be 16 points behind leaders Liverpool. All they can do is play games and try to win them and hope disastrous form strikes the league leaders. A win at Old Trafford would certainly further boost their confidence.

Manchester United - Arsenal: Form Analysis
It's possible that finishing eighth in the Premier League could see a team qualify for European football next season. Manchester United begin this weekend ten points adrift of that position as their hugely disappointing season continues.
Thursday saw them draw 1-1 at Real Sociedad in the Europa League. That followed an FA Cup exit at the hands of Fulham last weekend. The Red Devils have only won six home league games this season and been beaten seven times. Just 20 home league goals have been scored.
Only one of their last five league games has been won. That was a 3-2 home win over Ipswich and a rare league win at Old Trafford. Five of their last seven home league fixtures have been lost.
Who needs a striker?
Arsenal had a stunning 7-1 win at PSV in midweek, so who needs a striker! They have won seven away league fixtures this season with only a couple of defeats. Just one of their last seven league matches has been lost but they are still a country mile behind leaders Liverpool.
On the road, the Gunners are unbeaten in their last nine Premier League games and have only conceded 12 goals.

Speaking at his Friday press conference current Manchester United coach Ruben Amorim said: "We need to survive Sunday." That's not quite what United fans are used to hearing or want to hear. With protests due on Sunday, this isn't going to be a great weekend for the Reds.
That comment does show that Amorim has the second leg of their Europa League more in mind than this Premier League fixture. Even so, he knows another poor performance will only increase the pressure on him and the cllub.
Obi-Martin is likely to play this weekend.
Chido Obi-Martin is a likely starter this weekend as he didn't play against Sociedad. United still have several players out injured, though Amorim says most will be back by the end of the season.
Arsenal might have considered resting some players before their next Champions League game. With a 7-1 lead from the first leg, there doesn't seem to be much need to do that.
