Manchester City vs West Ham Prediction & Betting Tips - Premier League
by James | in Premier League Predictions
The news of their ban from European competition sending shockwaves across Europe, so it will be interesting to see how Manchester City react to this decision when they host West Ham in the Premier League. City, second in the table on 51 points, could take their fury at this UEFA ruling out on a West Ham side battling relegation in 18th place. It wouldn't be out of place with recent meetings between the pair ending in heavy defeats for West Ham. There is an aggregate score 20-3 in City's favour from the last six mismatched games between the clubs. Pep Guardiola will probably view this game as the ideal tonic for a bad couple of weeks. The ban aside, City will be concerned about their poor finishing this season. They come into this game on the back of successive matches in which they have failed to score, the first time this has happened during Pep's reign.
West Ham can only dream of having such problems to worry about. The threat of demotion is real for David Moyes' side. They threw away a two-goal lead in the 3-3 draw with Brighton to prolong a winless run in the Premier League to five matches. It would be a major shock if they managed to halt this undesired streak at the Etihad. Only a brave man would back against a City side that has scored more goals than any other team in the division. We think another flurry of goals will take place in this postponed match. A bet on City to win with a minus-three handicap is advised.

Our Manchester City vs West Ham Prediction
Europe rejoiced at the news of City's ban and Pep Guardiola will try to use this to his advantage. He'll try to mould his City players into viewing this season as an us-against-the-world mission. If this tactic works, West Ham could be on the receiving end of a huge hiding. We think that the smart money is on City to win with a minus-three handicap.
