Only an Ederson penalty save maintained Manchester City's unbeaten record in the Premier League. The goalless draw at Crystal Palace has presented City with a few problems due to injuries to De Bruyne and Jesus, With David Silva still missing due to personal issues, City will have to make changes but they have the squad to do  just that so it shouldn't hurt them too much. Luckily for them, they only have an out-of-form Watford to play at home, followed by an FA Cup tie with Burnley where they'd be making wholesale changes anyway. City are unbeaten in their last 29 Premier League games and still 14 points clear at the top. At home, they are unbeaten in 22 home league matches and have won the last nine in a row. The reverse fixture in this game saw City win 6-0 at Watford and that was at a time when their opponents were supposedly in decent form. That's not the case now and Watford start this set of league fixtures in tenth place but only seven points above the bottom three. They lost at home to Swansea on Saturday despite leading with four minutes to go and have only won one of their last eight league games. Away form has seen them score a fair few goals but they have lost five of their last six league games on the road and the next few weeks will decide whether they are just going to be a mid-table side going nowhere or dragged into the relegation battle. Manchester City can win this game and can be backed to be leading at both half-time and full-time.
