Manchester City vs Southampton Prediction & Betting Tips - Premier League

Manchester City are becoming a bit of a Jekyll and Hyde team this season. They've had a string of impressive wins but are also prone to some bad losses, so what will it be this weekend? Last weekend they suffered a terrible defeat at home to Liverpool with some appalling defending, then they went to Turin and lost in the Champions League. Being without Kompany is a massive blow for City at present and they also lack Silva in midfield, the sooner they get back in the first team the better. Aguero is back though and that's an important factor for City. Southampton lost 1-0 at home to Stoke City last weekend and are 8th in the table, five places below City but only six points adrift. Like City they can be really impressive one week and then struggle to impress the next. They remain unbeaten away from home in the Premier League but have drawn four of those six matches. This is a difficult match to predict because you never really know what City are going to do next. I go for a City win but not with a massive amount of confidence, that was a bad defeat for Saints last week though.
