Manchester City's Champions League campaign was beginning to look like another one of their difficult battles to reach the last sixteen. Despite being top of the Premier League, City lost at home to Juventus and then found themselves losing in the second half to Borussia Monchengladbach. Two late goals earned them a slightly undeserving win but was enough to take them into second place in this group. Since then they have had two big wins at home over Newcastle and Bournemouth scoring 11 goals in the process. They've lost Sergio Aguero who was injured while on international duty and have Nasri doubtful for this game. Sevilla qualified for the Champions League by winning the Europa League last season. This season hasn't been an easy one for them so far. They easily beat Monchengladbach at home 3-0 but then lost 2-0 away to Juventus. La Liga form has been a struggle with them currently down in 12th with just nine points from eight games and they are yet to win away with three draws and a defeat. That includes two draws at Malaga and Levante who are both in the bottom four. That away form doesn't bode well for a trip to Manchester City and the English club can get a win here.
