Manchester City vs Newcastle Prediction & Betting Tips - Premier League

Manchester City had a good win, if not a fortunate one, in the Champions League in midweek and that will have risen spirits after the 4-1 loss at Tottenham last weekend.  That defeat cost City their top spot but with new leaders Manchester United not playing until Sunday they can return to the top with a win here.  Apart from a defeat in the Capital One Cup last season City have an excellent home record against Newcastle in recent years. Several times United have been given a right hammering and that could be the case again this weekend.  Newcastle drew 2-2 at home to  Chelsea last Saturday but their away form doesn't inspire much hope of an upset here. So far in three away games in the Premier League they have failed to score a goal and conceded four in the process. Somehow they managed to get a 0-0 draw at Old Trafford but since then they have gone six games without a clean sheet and could face a heavy defeat here.
