Manchester City will be hosting French side Olympique Marseille in their final group C game in the UEFA Champions League this Wednesday as both sides seek to finish on a high. At the top of the group sits City, who have 13 points, while Marseille have three points, at the bottom of it. Manchester City thumped Marseille 3-0 in their first meeting in this group and they are sure to finish top of the pile. After a shaky period in their season earlier on, City have stabilized and are now on three wins in their last four matches, and four straight clean sheets in the run. They have failed to score in two of the last five matches, and this includes their 0-0 draw with FC Porto in their last Champions League game. With eight goals scored in their last four matches, City will be firm favorites going to this game, while a run of six unbeaten games at home further boosts them. The Premier League giants have five wins, four clean sheets and have conceded just one goal in their last six home matches. They have scored two or more goals in four of their last five matches at home and head to this game on four straight clean sheets in the Champions League. In their last 15 Champions League matches, Manchester City have managed 11 wins and lost once and they are unbeaten in their last 10 Champions League games played at home. They are known to finish off teams in the first half and of the eight goals they have scored in the last four matches, six have come in the first half.

Marseille have not had a very rosy return to the Champions League. So far, they have managed just one win and two goals in their five Group C matches. Their run in the Champions League is however unimpressive, having lost 13 of their last 14 matches in the competition.
