Manchester City made it into the last eight of the Champions League for the first time this week but hardly thrilled anyone with their 0-0 draw with Dynamo Kiev. Now it's the Manchester Derby and a vital game for them. By the time this game begins City could be 15 points behind league leaders Leicester with two games in  hand. A title win this season isn't looking hopeful not if they play like they did against Kiev and Norwich. Perhaps more worrying is the fact they are only two points ahead of West Ham who will climb into the top four if winning at Chelsea on Saturday. A United win here would put them just a point behind City so the Blues have to be a bit worried about whether or not they'll qualify for the Champions League next season, unless of course they manage to win it this season (they won't). Home performances have been up and down recently with losses to Leicester and Spurs but since then they've won and drawn without conceding a goal. United still have the FA Cup that they could win but will need a decent run-in if they want to get into the Europa League yet alone the Champions League. Form is as ever erratic and away performances aren't impressive at all with their only win in the last six being at Shrewsbury. A City win here looks the most likely result considering United's poor away form.
