by Ian John in Premier League Predictions
This weekend it is the Manchester derby, rampant Manchester City take on Manchester United in what is always one of the Premier League's most exciting local rivalries. Second placed City come into the game unbeaten in their last 11 Premier League games, dropping just four points in that hugely impressive run. United have lost just one of their last five games, winning the other four, but the Red Devils have lost 10 games already this season, including last weekend's 2-1 home defeat to Fulham.Limited Offer. Manchester City - Manchester United: Form Analysis
Manchester City come into this fixture on an 18-game unbeaten run, during which they have won the FIFA Club World Cup and also reached the FA Cup Quarter Finals (where they will face Newcastle at the Etihad) after a 6-2 win at Luton in midweek. Erling Haaland scored five of those goals, four of them created by Kevin De Bruyne, a stat which only emphasises how crucial the two players are to this ultra-talented team. In contrast to that, in the Premier League, City have managed just three goals in their past three games, but they picked up seven points from those matches. City remain second in the table, a point behind Liverpool after 26 games and they are unbeaten at home this season, winning nine and drawing four of their 13 matches. City have only failed to score in two games this season, both 1-0 away defeats to Arsenal and Aston Villa. They face a crucial run of games where they face United, Liverpool, Arsenal and then Aston Villa in successive Premier League games.
Manchester United are currently sixth in the Premier League table with 44 points from their 26 games, but they are eight points off the top four. Their recent string of four wins came to an abrubt end last weekend when Fulham scored an injury time winner to defeat them 2-1 at Old Trafford. That loss means United's home and away form is almost identical, winning 7, drawing 1 and losing 5 both at home and on the road. One positive for Erik Ten Hag's team is that they have won their last three away games at Wolves, Aston Villa and Luton Town. They will also know that they won this corresponding fixture last season, earning a 2-1 win thanks to late strikes from Bruno Fernandes and Marcus Rashford. Jack Grealish had put City ahead in that game. One defeat in their last six is United's best league form of the season so far.

Manchester City & Manchester United Squad Analysis
Manchester City have an almost clean bill of health heading into what will be a crucial run of fixtures over the coming weeks. There are just two main injury concerns for City for the Manchester derby. Jack Grealish will definitely be out as he has an occurrence of his groin injury and no date has been set for his return. There could be better news for central defender Josko Gvardiol who is back in training with the first team after an ankle injury. Pep Guardiola is unlikely to rush the Croatian back into the first team, so he may have to settle for a place on the bench if he is fit enough to be considered. Kevin De Bruyne and Erling Haaland have been hugely impressive since their return from injury, but the great form of Phil Foden has been one of the standout factors in Manchester City's season so far.
Erik Ten Hag has a number of players that are ruled out or doubtful for the game with City this weekend. Long-term absentees Anthony Martial, Luke Shaw and Lisandro Martinez are all still some way off returning to action, while the game comes too soon for Tyrell Malacia, Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Mason Mount, who are reportedly set to return some time in mid-March. The biggest blow has been the loss of Rasmus Hojliund for two to three weeks. The Danish striker had been in superb form before his injury and his absence will be a big blow to United in this game. Defender Harry Maguire is also a major doubt after missing the FA Cup win over Nottingham Forest in midweek, with his chances of playing rated doubtful at best. Hojlund's absence will put greater pressure on Alejandro Garnacho, the young Argentinean winger who has been one of the bright spots for United this season along with midfielder Kobie Mainoo.

2 Goals Ahead Early Payout Offer
One of the worst feelings when placing a football bet is when the team that you have backed has gone into a multiple-goal lead only to be clawed back to a draw or to lose the game in question. This is something that bet365 has rectified for their bettors courtesy of this offer. If the team that you backed takes a two-goal lead your bet will be paid out as a winner. That is any two-goal lead so 2-0, 3-1, 4-2 etc will all be paid out early as a winner if your team is in that position. This is available in 80 different competitions including the major leagues across Europe and can be played on the full-time result market. Singles and multiples are both valid for this offer but you cannot bet on enhanced price markets. As with most promotions, if you cash out a bet in full, the bet will no longer be available for the offer in question. It also cannot be used if you bet on the draw on a game.
