City head into the game top of the league standings on 66 points while United are fourth on 47 points. Two straight wins after the shock loss to Spurs are a reminder of how fast City can move on after a defeat but they are also great with lengthy winning runs. Dropping points in a draw with Southampton, then Tottenham has seen their lead cut to just six points by Liverpool, and City can’t afford more slip ups.
