Manchester City vs Luton Town Prediction & Betting Tips - Premier League

Manchester City can go top of the Premier League if beating Luton Town at home on Saturday. They are currently third in the table with their opponents down in 18th position and battling relegation. Arsenal and Liverpool are a point ahead of City but don't play until Sunday. A 12th home league win of the season will therefore see the Citizens go top of the table. They had a tough game in midweek but will have been pleased to return from Real Madrid with a 3-3 draw. City are one of only two sides still unbeaten at home in the Premier League this season, Liverpool being the others. That will please Pep Guardiola but he won't be so happy about the fact they have been held to a draw five times. The Blues are unbeaten in their last 16 league matches and that run began with a 2-1 win at Luton in December. They are in good scoring  form with eight goals scored in their last two league games plus three in Madrid. 

Luton Town had some good news this week with Everton being deducted a couple of points. The Hatters are two points frm safety but may be hindered by their -20 goal difference. They certainly won't want to suffer a heavy loss here to make it even worse. Last week saw them get three valuable points with a home win over Bournemouth. That was a much needed win as they'd gone 11 league matches without a victory. Away form has been poor this season with only two wins and ten losses. Only Sheffield United have conceded more away league goals than Luton. Seven league games without a win have been played and we see that beconing eight. Our prediction is a win for Manchester City with them leading at both half and full time.
