Manchester City had their chances last weekend but could only manage a 1-1 draw away to Burnley cutting their lead at the top to 13 points. Another mishap this weekend might get a few nerves going but this looks booked for another home win for the league leaders. They continue to  be in staggering form at the Etihad with 12 straight home league wins with each game having over 2.5 goals in the game and City scoring at least twice. City have gone 25 home league games without defeat and even with a few injuries at present, their squad is strong enough to cope. One player not in their squad or that of their opponents is Riyad Mahrez, or the Invisible Man as he's known these days. He's been absent since the league leaders failed to sign him on transfer deadline day. Leicester are 8th in the table, just the 34 points behind their opponents but they do have a chance of getting back into European competition if they can catch Burnley in seventh. They have been a bit inconsistent of late with an away defeat at Everton being followed by being held to a 1-1 draw by Swansea. They have gone four away league games without a win and seven of their last nine on the road have had over 2.5 goals scored in them. Go for over 2.5 goals to be scored in this match.
