Manchester City continue to rule the roost in the Premier League with five straight wins and still no goals conceded. It took a late goal to clinch a win at Crystal Palace but win they did but now comes another important game for the Blues. Recent years have seen City fail to make an impact in the Champions League regardless of how well they do in the Premier League.  Three seasons ago they even failed to make it out of the group. They've struggled to make the knock-out stages in the past two seasons and then had the misfortune of drawing Barcelona on each occasion. A run to at least the quarter finals is the aim for City this year and they start off in a group with Juventus, Sevilla and Borussia Monchengladbach.  They start off with a home game against Juventus who lost in the final last season to Barcelona. Whereas City have made a flying start to the season, the same can't be said for the Italians. They have failed to win any of their first three league games and are down towards the bottom of the table. At the weekend they had 70% possession at home to Chievo but needed a late penalty to earn them their first point of the season. Before that they lost at Roma and had two players sent off and lost at home to Udinese. With form like that it's hard to see them getting anything at the City of Manchester Stadium.
