Manchester City have what looks like an unbeatable lead at the top of the Premier League and are through to the fourth round of the FA Cup and the last sixteen of the Champions League. Now they bid to close in on another trophy as they host Championship side Bristol City in the first leg of their Carabao Cup semi-final. City will of course play a weakened side but they have the strength in depth to overcome that. They will look to build a good first-leg lead so they can give their top players even more rest in the second leg. Home form continues to be brilliant for City and the goals keep on flowing for them. The goals have been flowing in recent Bristol City games too but in the wrong direction. They have won just one of their last five games since beating Manchester United in the quarter finals of this competition and conceded ten goals in their last three matches. Saturday saw them lose in the FA Cup to Watford, a side they have beaten on their way to this semi-final. In all, the Championship side have knocked out four Premier League teams, with the other two being Crystal Palace and Stoke but this is only their second away game.. They struggle in defence and the tip here is to back the home side to win this game having led at both half and full time.
