Manchester City - Brentford: Form Analysis
After their 1-1 draw with Chelsea at the weekend, Pep Guardiola saw his team fail to win a game for the first time in 12 matches. The Spaniard will want to put that result behind them here against Brentford, a side who completed a rare double over Manchester City last season. This is the second game between the two in the space of a month with City running out 3-1 winners at the Community Stadium on the 5th February with Phil Foden scoring a stunning hat-trick after Neil Maupay gave Brentford the lead. City have the third best scoring and defensive record in the Premier League at present and they have not lost a game in any competition since losing 1-0 at Aston Villa back on 6th December.
Brentford come into this game hoping to arrest a slump in form over the last few months that has seen them drop down the table. The Bees have won just two of their last 12 games, drawing just one of thise matches, and losing the other nine games, some of them by some hefty scorelines. Ivan Toney's return to the team has given them a bit of added potency in attack, but it is the goals going in at the other end that has been a problem. Brentford have conceded 21 goals in their last ten games, scoring 13. They also don't have the best away record, ranking 15th of all the teams in the Premier League and they will face a team that has the third best home record and who have not been beaten at the Etihad this season.

Manchester City & Brentford Squad Analysis
Pep Guardiola will still be without Croatian central defender Josko Gvardiol who is penned in for a return to action in Early March after an ankle injury. Jack Grealish is also struggling to be fit for the game on Tuesday as he continues to struggle with a groin injury. Both have been ruled out by the manager for the game with Brentford. There is better news regarding Bernardo Silva whose ankle injury is not as bad as first feared and after playing at the weekend, he should be good to go on Tuesday. Sergio Gomes is another City player who should be fit, though he is likely to start on the bench. Erling Haaland will be looking to put his poor showing in front of goal against Chelsea behind him while the return of Kevin De Bruyne has given Manchester City an added dimension in attack that they lacked earlier in the campaign when the Belgian midfielder was injured.
Brentford manager Thomas Frank will be without long-term injury casualties Rico Henry and Joshua Dasilva for the game with City and it does not look like Aaron Hickey or Kevin Schade will be fit enough to return, with reports suggesting that both these players could be back at the end of February. Bryan Mbuemo and Ethan Pinnock both have ankle injuries and will not be fit to play against city, with a return at the end of March or early April most likely for the duo. One positive for Brentford fans is the return of Ivan Toney who has served his ban and has been in amongst the goals on his return to the first team at Brentford. Toney scored the two goals at the Etihad last season that handed Brentford an unexpected victory over the soon-to-be Champions.

Manchester City - Brentford Key Points
- Manchester City are unbeaten in the last 15 games, winning 13 of those matches and drawing the other two. Both those draws though have come at home against London-based teams (2-2 against Crystal Palace and 1-1 against Chelsea).
- Brentford have won two of their last 12 games. A worrying run that has seen them slip down the Premier League table and out of the FA Cup. However, they did win their last away game (a 2-0 victory at Wolves).
- Both teams have scored in five of Manchester City's last seven games. Only Everton, Huddersfield and Sheffield United failed to score against City in the Citizens last ten matches in all competitions.
- Both teams have scored in eight of Brentford's last nine games and there have been over 3.5 goals scored in seven of the last nine games involving the Bees.
- Manchester City have won five of the last seven between the two teams, but they did lose home and away to Brentford last season, the only team to beat City home and away in the league over the course of their Treble Winning campaign.

One of the worst feelings when placing a football bet is when the team that you have backed has gone into a multiple-goal lead only to be clawed back to a draw or to lose the game in question. This is something that bet365 has rectified for their bettors courtesy of this offer. If the team that you backed takes a two-goal lead your bet will be paid out as a winner. That is any two-goal lead so 2-0, 3-1, 4-2 etc will all be paid out early as a winner if your team is in that position. This is available in 80 different competitions including the major leagues across Europe and can be played on the full-time result market. Singles and multiples are both valid for this offer but you cannot bet on enhanced price markets. As with most promotions, if you cash out a bet in full, the bet will no longer be available for the offer in question. It also cannot be used if you bet on the draw on a game.
