Manchester City vs Arsenal Prediction & Betting Tips - Premier League

Manchester City in particular might just be entering the danger zone this weekend. They begin it four points clear of local rivals Manchester United and five of West Ham (who both have a game in hand) as they bid to get that final Champions League spot.  If United and/or West Ham get a win on Saturday then City really will be sweating. A draw against Arsenal will mean United just have to win their last three games to get into the Champions League and if West Ham can win their last three (they host United in midweek) then City will need four points from their last two games to finish ahead of them. Not the best time to be facing Arsenal then especially days after a tough game at Real Madrid. City suffered a bad defeat at Southampton last week and will need to defend better against Arsenal this week or even Olivier Giroud might score against them. That defeat ended a run of five league games without defeat but the problem City have is their home record against top teams in the Premier League. Leicester, Spurs, Manchester United and West Ham and eighth placed Liverpoo have all won against them at the Etihad this season. A defeat to Arsenal really will have them worried. Arsenal beat Norwich last week extending their unbeaten run to eight. One more win will confirm another season failing to get into the Champions League quarter finals.  Away form isn't bad with just one loss in the last eight but five draws. A draw here wouldn't be a bad result though considering their final game is Villa at home. A difficult game to predict especially considering City had that tough game in midweek. I go for both teams to score here.
