FC Managua are out for a bit of revenge in this Nicaraguan Clausura Play-off final. They take on Real Esteli who beat them in the Apertura Play-off final held at the end of last year. The first leg of this play-off final took place at the weekend ending in a 1-1 draw at Real Esteli. Both goals came in the second half with Esteli taking the lead, only for Managua to equalize four minutes later. Managua finished top of the Clausura regular season, finishing seven points ahead of their opponents. They only lost twice in their 18 games and come into this play-off final second leg on an unbeaten run of 16 games. To reach this final, Managua defeated Walter Ferretti, drawing the away first leg and winning at home in the decider. They will hope to follow that pattern this weekend and are unbeaten in their last 19 home league and cup games over a period of 13 months. 

Real Esteli were runners up in the regular season and are also in good form coming into this game. They haven't lost in their last seven games but aren't scoring that many goals. Only once in their last five matches have they managed to score more than one goal in a game. Their away form has seen them win their last three but before that they had only had a single victory in their last six. Managua will have been delighted in getting a draw in the away first leg, they can finish the job off with a home win.
